Thanks to Uncle Dan, Aunt Michele, and Katie, Jon got a new ride for his first birthday. I really liked this shot since it shows his brothers and cousin Kaya. The best part..Parker telling us all that the new toy was really his.

While Jonathan loves sitting and slowly scooting along with the toy, Parker is trying to set land speed records in the living room.

I realize it’s been a few weeks since his birthday. Better late than never. With a number of family members out of town, we had a smaller than usual family gathering to celebrate Jon’s first birthday. Even though the other family members were there via video conference for a short while, we had a blast with the small group that was there.

Thanks to everyone that came and shared this special day with us.

Lena and I watched many Laker games (regular season and finals) when we were dating. Now that the family has grown, we do our best to catch games when we can. Here is Jonathan sporting the new 2009 Western Conference Champions cap. Go Lakers!
