I’ll start off by saying that Parker is fine and we are back into our daily routine. Now for the story:

Parker “might” have ingested some medication that was not his. As a result, we were asked by Poison Control to take him into the ER. Parker was a great patient and only got scared when some crazy woman came in screaming. I got scared when the lady on the other side of the curtain told the doctor she had the swine flu. After the doctor reviewed her symptoms we found out that she was on parole and looking for a doctor’s note to get out of meeting with her parole officer. Loser.

The only thing Parker really suffered from this day was boredom. Having to keep him in this bed for an entire day was a challenge. But he did great. Now if we can keep him from putting foreign objects in his mouth we’ll be ok.
