This afternoon my friend at work was looking up websites as they appeared years ago. It’s the next best thing to a time machine. Using the Way Back Machine, you are able to see websites as they appeared at a specific time in the past.

I entered www.slazyk.com into the search window and came across this photo from the main page. Now it’s in Flickr, to enjoy for years to come. Here’s another one.

Here’s a quick clip of Dylan shooting 50% from the field . Not too bad for a little guy.

When I was a kid, my parents would buy these “space food sticks”. I loved those things. A bit softer than a Tootsie Roll, chewy, and with a nice chocolate flavor. Not really sure what was in them but I loved them because my heros, the astronauts, apparently ate these things in space. I’ve come to find out that they were made by Pillsbury from the original commercials I found above.

With Dylan’s recent trip to the Kennedy Space Center, grandma and grandpa bought him some of the freeze dried neapolitan ice cream. Dylan did not like it too much but I could not get it away from Parker. He not only ate the entire contents of package, but licked the wrapper and has asked for it every day since. The moment he started asking for it to be in his lunch at preschool, I knew my son was going to love all “space food”. Not to mention the fact that he will be a fantastic backpacker due to his love for freeze dried food. Haha

Guess I’ll have to stock up on freeze dried ice cream with summer approaching fast.

A number of you have asked where all the new posts have gone…

Well, we have been a little busy the past month or so. We have sold a house, bought a house, moved out, moved in, started raising a newborn, raising a 2 year old, parent teacher conference for the 7 year old, back at work after maternity leave, crazy busy at work….just to name several of the things that have been going on.

Now that things have “settled down”, I’ll do my best to get back to my regular posting schedule. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Dylan celebrated his 7th birthday last weekend with family. We heading over to the grandparents’ house for a water slide/bounce house party. Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts and great time. For more photos, click on the picture above.

Parker and Dylan eagerly await the arrival of their new brother. If all goes according to plan, these two will have another brother sometime over the weekend. It’s a very exciting time for everyone, especially these two.  Dylan even got a haircut for the special event.
