One of the great things about being a parent is introducing things to your kids for the first time. The other night we were at the grandparents’ house for dinner. Grandma, who is a great cook, had made a couple of desserts. One of these was a sort of fruit, jello, cool-whip concoction that tasted great. All the boys wanted some. When Parker and Dylan wanted to know what was for dessert we came up with the name ‘Sugar Magic’.

For those of you without kids you may not appreciate the enormity of the situation. Essentially what happened was we named a dessert that will be eaten for years to come (and possibly made by our boys when they have a family) which will forever be known as ‘Sugar Magic’.

If you are interested, I’ll follow up this post with the recipe.
