Thanks to Uncle Dan, Aunt Michele, and Katie, Jon got a new ride for his first birthday. I really liked this shot since it shows his brothers and cousin Kaya. The best part..Parker telling us all that the new toy was really his.
While Jonathan loves sitting and slowly scooting along with the toy, Parker is trying to set land speed records in the living room.
The 7 year old learned a new song at school and sung it so much that the 3 year old has learned it. The 3 year old loves singing, especially when other people are around. Oh. I’m sorry. The song..you want to know what song they are singing. I’m not sure if this version has a title but it sounds a lot like ‘Yankee Doodle Dandy’ and goes like this.
Yankee Doodle went to town riding on a rocket. Stuck a peanut up his butt and called it Hersheys chocolate.
Gotta love the things brothers teach each other.

Another beautiful Sunday in southern California. We went out on our regular Sunday morning stroll. As we came around the corner Lena saw Parker and Dylan holding hands as they were walking down the trail. Very cool since they are normally competing against each other every waking minute.
A number of you have asked where all the new posts have gone…
Well, we have been a little busy the past month or so. We have sold a house, bought a house, moved out, moved in, started raising a newborn, raising a 2 year old, parent teacher conference for the 7 year old, back at work after maternity leave, crazy busy at work….just to name several of the things that have been going on.
Now that things have “settled down”, I’ll do my best to get back to my regular posting schedule. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Parker and Jonathan share the vibro-chair Sunday morning. The brothers had a nice and relaxing day. Hard to believe that Parker fit in that chair not too long ago.

Parker and Dylan eagerly await the arrival of their new brother. If all goes according to plan, these two will have another brother sometime over the weekend. It’s a very exciting time for everyone, especially these two. Dylan even got a haircut for the special event.
