I just got diagnosed with Gout today. Who the heck would ever think that I would have Gout? I thought gout was some 19th century vitamin deficiency disease. But no, I have Gout..in my toe…and it HURTS.
I noticed this bump in my toe about a week ago. I thought it was strange but it didn’t hurt and I was still able to run…so I didn’t really worry about it. Then on Sunday night, I woke up in pain. My toe was killing me. And it has just gotten worse since Sunday. Now it is inflamed and it is starting to hurt worse and worse. And the worse part about all this….I can’t run. I sure hope this goes away soon.
Ouch!!! Hope you feel better soon! Take your anti-inflammatories!!!
I know of people who get this and heard it’s really painful. Do what the doc says. have you reviewed it at http://www.webmd.com?
That sucks Lena. I also thought gout was something we didn’t get anymore… But you aren’t the only one I guess.

Thank you everybody! It’s feeling much better today. I am going to get the blood results back soon. I am curious if it truly is Gout as it is very rare for 35 year old women to get Gout.
