Starbucks has become the coffee shop on every corner for the most part. Each one has a very good idea of who their clients are and when they experience “rush hours”. In the off chance you order a regular cup-o-joe like I do, you may be surprised to know that if their drip coffee is not ready to serve, you get it for free. This has happened to me on more than one occasion. While the wait for the free coffee is typically a couple of minutes, it’s definitely worth it. Hey, it’s free. While this doesn’t happen often as they are on top of their brewing, you are most likely to get lucky in the morning when the masses pour in looking for their morning fix.
This is great. I didn’t know this until you mentioned it that one time. Good to know for those coffee fiends.
Good tip. Almost every time they’re out of coffee they’ve offered this and I agree, it’s a classy touch. I’ll never forget one time though, I was promised a free cup by one employee, but another brought it to me and made me feel like a real jerk for expecting it to be free. Awkward, and not worth $1.55 for the bad memory.
