I came across this great site for free e-Books the other day. Who is the Burgomeister? Check out the site and find out for yourself. Essentially, this person has placed some great late-20th century literature online for free download. These free e-Books are not pirated copies but rather personal backups of books which the Burgomeister has purchased and is now lending them freely to friends. There are some terms that you need to follow but nothing you can’t handle…like only downloading one free e-Book at a time. I have also added a link to this site in Cool Stuff for quick reference in the future as this post gets burried. Hope you enjoy these as much as I have started to.
News From the Lockett/Slazyk Florida family:
Health – Katie Lockett Alfieri is going to have an addition to their family in January, 2008. Julie continues to recover from her surgery day by day. Jane Slazyk Lockett will have her gall bladder removed in August.
On the work front: Katie continues to work as an Assistant attorney in Orange County Florida. Jane will be featured as a Spotlight individual in the August issue of WMFE.org, public radio in Central Florida. She will be speaking on k12 education acountability at a conference in DC in July.
Childrens Orchard, the resale high quality boutique continues to grow it’s business and celebrated it’s first year anniversary.
